I've been less productive the last few months than I want to be, and a lot of what I have done is concept sketches, rough layouts, and incremental progress on a painting for The Hylozoist which has been in progress for almost a year. A year! It's admittedly a pretty big painting, but it's been tricky to get right. And maybe there's enough going on in my life to make art hard to focus on.
So here is Space Captain Mallard, in: The Cavern of Splorpy Plorps. Looks gross. I'm not sure if she actually looks like a space captain, because I forgot to draw her space cravat. That's a cravat you wear in space, by the way.
